Ingredients
½ lb ground beef
¼ lb ground pork
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ cup breadcrumbs
½ cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let it sit for a
few minutes until the breadcrumbs absorb the milk. Add the ground beef, ground pork,
chopped onion, egg, salt, black pepper, and allspice. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
Shape the Meatballs: Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
Cook the Meatballs: In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the
meatballs and cook until they are browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
Serve: Transfer the meatballs to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lingonberry jam.
